DID YOU KNOW…

…that according to the National Ambulatory Medical Ccolorful-pills-01are Survey (2006), the likelihood of you getting prescribed a medication during a physician visit is 71%?

…that the average number of prescriptions in a visit is 2.1?

…67% of people who are treated for cancer die from the treatment itself, not the cancer?

…that the number one cause of death in the United States of America is not Heart Disease, but rather medication (even taking the “right” medicines) or malpractice issues?

…that when CA’s Doctor’s went on strike last year that the state’s death toll went down?

…that by the time you feel pain, your body is already operating at 60% of it’s optimal health?

…vaccinations still contain mercury (even though they tell us they don’t) because it is the number one preservative on the planet?

…that high fructose corn syrup now contains mercury, to better preserve your food?

…by the time a child receives all 92 vaccinations (when I was little it was only 20!) they have 300 x the legal amount of mercury in their body?ht2tylenol-paracetamol

…that mercury and other heavy metals found in the vaccinations never leave your body, but stay lodged at the base of the brain or in other organs? (unless you undergo a heavy metal detox)

…1 in 3 school age children now have allergies or asthma?

…that every time you take a Tylenol your body deposits 1 tsp. of blood in your stomach (hint, hint…this is not good!)

…95% of Americans never do any research on the harmful side effects of the drugs they are prescribed, but just blindly take them?  NO WONDER MEDICINE IS THE NUMBER ONE CAUSE OF DEATH IN THE U.S.!

DO YOU EVER WONDER IF OUR “CURES” ARE ACTUALLY KILLING US?  I DO!

I am not saying all medicine is bad. I do, howewould-you-take-the-pillver, believe that we have become a pill taking society, never once questioning or researching things for ourselves.  Doctors do many wonderful things for people who are in crisis and emergency situations.

I just have to wonder sometimes if the “easy” way (popping a pill or running to the doctor for every ache and pain) is the WISE thing to do.  Maybe we should start by investigating the ROOT causes for some of our ailments!

For example, instead of popping a pill for our daily headaches, we should look into gettinheadache1g adjusted by a good chiropractor.  Headaches aren’t caused by a bodily shortage of Tylenol.  There could be many causes, but typically it is nervous system related, stomach achewhich can be alleviated completely by removing the interference on the nervous system.  Maybe instead of getting antacids for our stomach problems we should evaluate our diet and make the hard commitment to eat differently than the majority of Americans.

There is typically a root cause to our ailments—sometimes simple and sometimes not. Sometimes we need a doctor’s intervention and other times we do not. Those are decisions you must personally make in each situation.  Prevention and maintaining good health instead of frequent doctor visits are a big focus in our family!

If you don’t know where to start, we can help you–whether it is with healthy eating, exercise, supplementation, detoxing, chiropractic care, or just plain old prevention advice.  Our family is on a mission to help create healthier lives – we would love to help you today!  If you have questions, email us at info@healthyoates.com.

Shaklee VIVIX vs. High Blood Pressure–Testimony!

bloodpressure“I have high blood pressure that is controlled by a diuretic and beta blocker combination medication.  Usually even with medication my systolic ranges between 129-138 and my diastolic between 75-83 and my pulse would range anywhere from 80-91 (rarely dropping below 80).

After five days on Vivix™ my blood pressure was 111/69 and pulse 59.  The only thing different that I have been doing prior to this low reading is Vivix™.  The past few days, my bp seems to be consistently around 122/73 and pulse 70.  That’s pretty pleasing to me.  I hope to eventually be able to come off all medications.  I do supplement with magnesium and CoQ10 to counteract what my bp medication causes in nutrient deficiencies, but I’d rather not have the stuff going through my system.

I have not been on any other medications, not changed my diet any and my exercise level is still around 7500 steps a day and some light resistance workouts with 5 lb weights.

Overall, I seem to have more energy and am better able to concentrate. I would recommend that you take Vivix™ in the morning so you can get the benefit of more energy throughout the day. ”vivix with grapes
